DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for our bi-monthly #FeministBookClub! July 2019’s book is: Educated by Tara Westover \n\n\n\nSnacks and tea will be provided. Not able to read the full book? Not a problem! About a week before the event\, we’ll send a supplemental article (a shorter read related to the book theme\, so all can participate meaningfully in the discussion) to everyone who is RSVP’d to book club. \n\n\n\nMeeting location will be a private residence in Portsmouth. We’ll send the address via to folks who RSVP. \n\n\n\nThe ticket price helps us cover refreshments and other costs for the host and organizers. Proceeds are split with Feminist Oasis\, our facilitator and the month’s host. Feminist Oasis members: Use your discount code at registration to get your discount on tickets! \n\n\n\nPrice: $7 members\, $10 advance\, $12 day of \n\n\n\nAll genders are welcome! Feminist Oasis members\, remember to use your discount code for this event! \n\n\n\nMore about the Feminist Book Club \n\n\n\nFeminist Oasis’ Feminist Book Club will hold bi-monthly meetings in various locations across New Hampshire’s Seacoast region. Each book selection will be paired with “secondary materials” — essentially anything that will make the book’s purpose clear for those who are unable to complete it prior to attending a meeting (life doesn’t always make finishing a book a simple task; trust us\, we get it). Book selections will be broken into the following categories: \n\n\n\nContemporary Feminist TheoryFeminist ClassicsFiction by WOC (Women of Color)\n\n\n\nFeminist Oasis \n\n\n\nFeminist Oasis organizes to cultivate feminist community and explore feminist values in action. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome to all of our events — this includes all genders! \n\n\n\nIf monetary cost is prohibitive but you’d like to attend\, please email us at hello@feministoasis.com and we will find a way that works for you participate.
